There is no greater anathema in Valence than the idea of killing the nobles of the Court. The very concept of assassinating royalty is so heinous that the Court of Valence will not even send out their assassins to kill leaders of other lands and peoples... at least not officially. Unofficially, there is a secret subset of Royal Assassins known as the King Killers; sent out just as the others on a decoy mission, their true missions are usually the 'dirty work' that the Court will never admit to doing, such as assassinating a noble, some tribe leader or ruler... or even his progeny. |
