In an age where the Shroud grows stronger and the demons have come knocking on the walls of Igman, dabbling with the occult and risking losing your soul to necromancy is not a very rewarding enterprise. There still remain those who seek out rituals aimed at prolonging their lives, or even using the Shroud to pierce the barriers between life and death and receive wisdom from spirits beyond the grave. Rarely do these plans come to fruition, for the Deathrite always arrives to reap the souls of those who look where no one should even glimpse. |
