Note: Players will need to weigh Evasion and Armor stats based upon their build.

Item Modifiers

(Credit goes to @ItsCappuccino#9828 of the Pagan Online Discord)

Below is the list of how modifiers work when crafting. See Materials for more information.

When crafting an item, only the initial recipe sets the type of item in place and gives the first craft stats as shown on the recipe. Reforging gives all possibilities as shown in the table below based on material and position.

Each item puts materials in a specific position:

  • Weapon - Uses up to all four material slots
  • Amulet - Uses only right slots
  • Ring - Uses only left slots
  • Charm - Uses up to all four material slots
  • Ward - Uses up to all four material slots
  • Tome - Uses up to all four material slots

Finally, crafting with a higher crafter level increases the chance additional stats are added to a position (this may be by material, but is not confirmed).

Right Crit Atk Dmg % Poison dmg % Cold Res % Cold Res % Health %
Right Fire Res % Spell damage % Spell damage %

Example 1: A player wants to craft a weapon for Kingewitch.

The best route would be to find a recipe with the following options in the four slots:

  • L Slot 1 - Armor Segment (STR) or Bottled Gale (Phys x-y) or Weapon Fragment (STR or Phys x-y)
  • L Slot 2 - Armor Segment (STR) or Bottled Gale (Phys x-y) or Weapon Fragment (STR or Phys x-y)
  • R Slot 1 - Armor Segment (Crit Attack DMG % or Phys DMG %) or Architectural Element (Phys dmg % or Attack dmg % or Crit Attack DMG %) or Bottled Gale (Phys x-y) or Living Plate (Crit Chance %) or Celestial Light (Phys dmg %)
  • R Slot 2 - Armor Segment (Crit Attack DMG % or Phys DMG %) or Architectural Element (Phys dmg % or Attack dmg % or Crit Attack DMG %) or Bottled Gale (Phys x-y) or Living Plate (Crit Chance %) or Celestial Light (Phys dmg %)

Based on the above the player would then need to reforge until gaining the proper mix of stats according to the section on How to Craft.
