It was said that Veles took pity on the monks, praying for centuries at Igman, turned to stone in their meditative trance. The God of Nature spoke to each individually, tempting them to cease their pointless trial and join him in his grace and union with the earth and tree root, with the animalkin and man alike. It is not known how many, if any, took the Trickster God's offer. |
