Royal Assassins usually perform an offensive, preventive role for the rulers of Valence - they attack and destroy anything that could threaten the Court. Armed uprisings are a rare occurrence in a land as prosperous as Valence, but for the situations where there is a full-blow assault on the Courts, the Order of the Falcon was formed - expert sharpshooters dedicated to defending the Court of Valence at all costs. In times of peace, it is not uncommon for the Order of Falcon assassins to be sent off along with 'normal' Royal Assassins on missions, causing a friendly but passionate rivalry between the factions. |
